ABOUT VELVET
Velvet Madrid has been practicing healing bodywork
since 1997 and is approved by the National Certification
Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork as a continuing
education provider for Thai Yoga Bodywork. She holds a
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and has over 1000
hours of bodywork education, including college level
anatomy and physiology courses.
In her specialization of Thai Massage, Velvet has studied
with master teachers "Mama" Lek Chaiya and her son, Jack
Chaiya of Nerve Touch, based in Chiangmai, Thailand, Janice
Vitavec of Spirit Winds School of Thai Massage, Rose
Griscom of Institute of Thai Massage - USA, as well as
Marko Yrjoruori, the trainer for the Los Angeles Lakers.
